Dr. Lorenzo began his higher education studying aerospace and then industrial engineering at the Viterbi School of Engineering of the University of Southern California. He soon realized his true passion was in the health sciences and healing arts, so he shifted his educational focus to earn a Human Biology B.S. and Psychology B.A. from the University of Southern California in 2014. Through a bit of inspiration from a chiropractor in his hometown of Whittier, California, Dr. Lorenzo knew that he desired a lifetime of helping others as a chiropractor. In 2015, he attended Los Angeles Chiropractic College of the Southern California University of Health Sciences, graduating as Doctor of Chiropractic, Suma Cum Laude with an emphasis in Sports Medicine in 2018. Outside of chiropractic, he enjoys weight training, running, bicycling and boxing, but his favorite sport to watch and play is always going to be soccer.
Although he strives for quick positive outcomes, part of Dr. Lorenzo’s treatment philosophy as a chiropractor prefers lasting results over immediate ones. Dr. Lorenzo believes that through understanding the nature of health problems and appreciating the unique experience each patient has of these problems, the long-lasting solution can be found. With education and encouragement, he hopes to help his patients prioritize their health and the health of those close to them. He is happy to help patients in English and in Spanish. Dr. Lorenzo finds great reward in helping others achieve their goals and considers it a blessing to be able to do this through chiropractic.
Great first visit. I came in with a slight issue on my right hip and sciatica. Dr Urteaga immediately identified the problem area and quickly formulated a plan for treatment. The Dr worked his magic and I walked out feeling like a new man. Extremely satisfied with the service I was provided. The ladies in the front desk also need to be mentioned for their outstanding friendly service. I highly recommend this clinic for any and all chiropractic needs.
